Daily Lights Out
One Lights Out puzzle a day, free, right here in your browser. Everyone gets the same board, and it changes at midnight UTC.
How to play
The aim: turn every light off.
- Press a light. It flips, and so do the lights directly above, below, left and right of it. On becomes off, off becomes on.
- Order does not matter. Pressing the same light twice undoes itself, so the only thing that counts is which lights you press.
- Work top down. Clear the top row by pressing the row beneath it, then repeat. Whatever survives to the bottom row is the real puzzle.
What par means
Par is the fewest presses that can clear today’s board. Every board here is solvable, because each one is made by starting from a dark grid and pressing lights at random. Solving it in par is the day’s best possible result; anything over still counts.
